Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by Iida Shoten Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).
Users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- These Terms shall apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service between the User and the Company.
- In addition to these Terms, the Company may establish various rules, guidelines, or policies (hereinafter referred to as “Individual Provisions”) regarding the Service.
- Regardless of their designation, such Individual Provisions shall constitute a part of these Terms.
- In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Individual Provisions, the Individual Provisions shall prevail unless otherwise specified.
Article 2 (Prohibited Matters)
Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Service:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal activity
- Acts that infringe intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademarks, or other rights
- Acts that destroy or interfere with the functionality of the Company’s servers or networks
- Acts that use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes
- Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Company’s services
- Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
- Collection or accumulation of personal information about other users
- Impersonation of another user
- Providing benefits directly or indirectly to antisocial forces in connection with the Company’s services
- Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 3 (Suspension or Interruption of the Service)
- The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users if any of the following applies:
- Maintenance, inspection, or updating of the system
- Natural disasters or other force majeure events preventing service provision
- Accidents such as fires, power outages, or system failures
- Any other situation where the Company deems it difficult to provide the Service
- The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by Users or third parties due to such suspension or interruption.
Article 4 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability)
- The Company does not warrant, either explicitly or implicitly, that the Service is free from defects (including defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, fitness for a particular purpose, or security).
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Even in cases where liability is recognized, the Company’s liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the User for the Service in the relevant month.
- The Company shall not be involved in or responsible for any disputes between Users or between Users and third parties.
Article 5 (Changes to Service Content)
The Company may change, add, or discontinue the content of the Service without prior notice and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users as a result.
Article 6 (Modification of Terms)
The Company may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice if deemed necessary.
Continued use of the Service after such modification shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 7 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company shall appropriately handle personal information obtained through the use of the Service in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Article 8 (Notices and Communications)
Notices or communications between the User and the Company shall be conducted by the methods specified by the Company.
Unless the User submits a change notification in accordance with the prescribed method, the Company shall deem the currently registered contact information to be valid and shall send notices accordingly.
Article 9 (Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations)
Users may not assign or transfer their status under the Terms or their rights or obligations to third parties without prior written consent from the Company.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
