Our Commitment to Craftsmanship
As times change and products and services continue to evolve, the role of a seafood processing company is also changing.
Even so, we remain dedicated to being professionals who create true value through our craft.
With the experience and skills we have built over the years, we will continue to deliver the unique taste that only IIDA SHOUTEN can offer.
We create products that leave a lasting impression by turning the gifts of nature into great taste.
As a seafood processing company, we specialize in deboned fish to make seafood easier and safer to enjoy. Each product is carefully prepared, with every bone removed by hand, so anyone can eat with confidence and comfort.
Through our careful craftsmanship, we make fish easier to enjoy, bringing more smiles to everyday meals. That is our mission.
IIDA SHOUTEN’s performance deta

Fresh from Choshi.
True since Meiji.
President and CEO
Yasutoshi Iida
Choshi is a place blessed with a warm climate, known for its large, flavorful fruits and fresh vegetables.
It has also long been a town of fishing and soy sauce, rich in tradition and history.
In this city—where the catch has ranked No.1 in Japan for eight consecutive years—our company has continued its work since the Meiji era.
Our story began in the early Meiji period, when our founder, Goro Iida, started his business under the name “Yamago,” wishing for steady growth and lasting prosperity.
We have always believed in delivering the fresh fish of Choshi Port to people across Japan, just as it was when it was first caught.
This belief, together with our traditional methods, has been passed down through five generations since the Meiji era.
